The Austrian Foreign Minister and the Greek Embassy offer condolences to the earthquake victims

The Secretary General of the Austrian Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, offered condolences on the behalf of the Austrian Ministry of the Foreign Affairs for the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria recently.

During his contact with the Syrian ambassador to Austria and its permanent representative to the International Organization, Dr. Hassan Khaddour, he expressed his country’s readiness to provide assistance in this field.

In a related context, the Greek Ambassador to Austria, Catherine Koika, offered condolences on the behalf of her and the members of the Greek Embassy for the victims of the earthquake.

During her contact with Ambassador Khaddour, she expressed her country’s readiness to provide all possible assistance, explaining that Greece has great experience in providing aid during natural disasters.

Ambassador Khaddour expressed his appreciation to Tieffenthal and Koika for their initiative to contact and offer to provide assistance to mitigate the effects of the earthquake.
