A Jordanian aid convoy reaches Syria through Nassib Jaber border crossing

Daraa (ST): A Jordanian aid convoy arrived through the Nassib Jaber border crossing, provided by the Jordanian government, for the benefit of those affected by the earthquake.

The Jordanian consul in Damascus, Anwar Badawi, said in a media statement: “The convoy consists of seven trucks carrying foodstuffs, medical supplies, and shelter equipment for those affected by the earthquake,” offering his condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Badawi pointed out that the Jordanian government and people show solidarity with the brothers in Syria with their painful affliction.

The teams of the Syrian Red Crescent at the Nassib crossing began unloading the cargo to transport it to Damascus in Red Crescent trucks, and then deliver it to those who need it.

The Jordanian convoy was received by Dr. Walid Al-Dakhoul, a member of the executive office in Daraa governorate and the disaster management team at the Syrian Red Crescent branch in Daraa.

It is noteworthy that a Palestinian rescue team arrived yesterday evening through the Nassib Jaber border crossing.
