Hama (ST): Two children and a woman, died, and 21 others were injured in the Al-Ghab area in Hama countryside, as a result of the earthquake.
The director of the Suqaylabiyah National Hospital, Dr. George Al-Wakeel, stated in a statement to SANA news reporter that two dead children were taken to the hospital, the first from the village of Tal al-Tattan and the other from the village of Al-Hawaiq, affected by their serious injuries, while a woman from the village of Al-Abr died and was taken to the hospital after she was affected by the state of shock and panic as a result of the earthquake.
In addition, 21 people were hospitalized for treatment, most of whom are in stable condition, after emergency and medical care was provided to them.
Al-Wakeel also said that a child died and a number of his family members were injured when a 3-storey building collapsed in Ain al-Krum district, al-Ghab area, in the western Hama countryside, as a result of the earthquake.
The child and his family members were taken to the hospital to receive treatment, but the child died of his severe injury, while the rest of his family suffered injuries of varying severity.
