Al-Hasakah Culture Directorate opens a children’s club

The Directorate of Culture opened a children’s Club in the Arab cultural Center in Al-Hasakah city with the aim of developing children’s talents in a number of fields and encouraging  them to join  culture and science institutions especially during their free time.

The Head of Directorate of Culture, Abd Al-Rahman al-Sayed, stated to SANA  that the aim of establishing the club is to provide care to children and attract them within Al-Hasakah city center and its surrounding neighborhoods. He added that another aim of establishing this club is developing children’s skills and creative inclinations in various artistic, sports and mental fields and refine them in free training workshops that are held every Saturday by specialized trainers.

Al-Sayed indicated that the specializations offered by the club vary between music, singing, drawing, reading, handicrafts, calligraphy, theatre, folk arts, acting, chess, group games, recreational and sports activities, in addition to media courses in TV and radio presentation. Finally he pointed out that registration is still open for parents wishing to register their children and fill their time with useful activities and events.
