On February 5th, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva affirmed the stability of his country’s permanent position in supporting Syria and the return of stability to it.
While accepting the credentials of the new Syrian ambassador to Brazil, Rania al-Haj Ali, in the presence of Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, Lula da Silva expressed his country’s position in supporting Syria in international forums and its permanent support for the return of peace to it.
In her turn, Ambassador Rania al-HajAli affirmed Syria’s desire to deepen the political, economic and cultural relations and to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
