The story collection (Ahmed Jibril, Eagle of Palestine) highlights many details of the life of fighter Ahmed Jibril, who spent his life resisting the Zionist entity and defending the Palestinian cause, armed with all cultural, military and militant methods.
The book that was compiled by Rafie Al-Saadi, Secretary of the Palestinian Writers’ Union in Syria and Mohammed Adel, and presented by the President of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, depicts Jibril as a man who ably assumed his struggle responsibility, and believed in science and knowledge to confront the enemy that was supported by the colonial West.
In his research, Adel said that Ahmed Jibril entrusted the writers with the national trust before his death, so that the cause would remain defended and safeguarded, considering that all agreements that do not aim at resistance and liberation are null and void.
Poet Khaled Abu Khaled explained that he was in agreement with Ahmed Jibril in loyalty to Palestine and continuing the struggle for the liberation of the land and the realization of freedom and genuine peace, which does not accept that advocates of colonial democracy will exterminate peoples for their own interests.
In the introduction to the book, the President of the Arab Writers’ Union, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hourani, pointed out that Ahmad Jibril remained steadfast and firm with the option of resistance until the end, as he was one of its founders and defenders. His political and cultural discourse was associated with the gun and sincerity of the stance, indicating that he was one of the developers of the resistance narrative. He who took up arms against the Zionist enemy from a very young age.
