Distinction and Creativity Agency launches the National Robotics Championship 2023

The Distinction and Creativity Agency, during a news conference in Damascus on Saturday, launched the National Robotics Championship 2023.

Winners in the competitions will qualify for the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), the agency clarified.

Muheib Al- Nuqqari, Head of the scientific committee for robotics in the distinction agency said that the competition includes three stages respectively called “Robot Tasks”, “Future Creatives” and ” Future Engineers”.

For her part, Director of the Syrian Science Olympiad Leen Qasem noted the opening of several robotics clubs in major schools, pointing out that 150 teams from different Syrian provinces will take part in the competitions.

It is to be noted that the National Robotics Championship will be held next July and winners will qualify for the World Robot Olympiad due to be held in Panama next November.
