Iran’s delegate to the United Nations: Preliminary investigations show the Zionist entity’s involvement in attack on Isfahan

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Irwani, announced that preliminary investigations show that the Zionist entity was involved in the terrorist attack on a military-industrial complex in the city of Isfahan a few days ago, in clear violation of international laws.

In a letter addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council protesting the hostile actions of the Zionist entity and the provocative statements issued by a Ukrainian official regarding the terrorist attack, Irwani indicated that the statements of the Prime Minister of the Zionist entity in an interview with CNN on January 31 during which he admitted the involvement of his entity in sabotage and terrorist acts in Iran, confirms the necessity of holding this entity accountable for all criminal and terrorist acts committed against Iran.

Irwani called on the Security Council to fulfill its responsibility on the basis of the Charter and condemn the statements of the Zionist officials calling for war, calling on this entity to comply with international laws and end its dangerous programs and subversive activities in the region.

Irawni stressed that Iran reserves its legitimate and principled right on the basis of international law and the UN Charter to defend its national security, and to respond firmly to any threat or wrong action by the Zionist entity in the place and time it deems necessary.

Irwani also presented his country’s protest against the provocative and unjustified statement of a high-ranking Ukrainian official regarding the terrorist attack on the industrial complex in the city of Isfahan. He stressed that these irresponsible statements and actions are a clear violation of international laws and the principles contained in the UN Charter, calling on the UN Security Council to condemn it.
