The Lebanese army calls for pressure on the Israeli enemy to stop its hostile practices

Beirut (ST): The Lebanese Army called on the United Nations to confront the hostile practices of the Israeli occupation entity.

A statement by the Lebanese Army Command said: “ The Lebanese side, during a meeting in Ras Naqoura, in the presence of the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL, and the head of the mission, Major General Aroldo Lazaro, called on the United Nations to exert maximum pressure on the Israeli enemy in order to curb its aggressive practices, holding the enemy responsible for the consequences of the ongoing attacks and violations of Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea and air .They reiterated Lebanon’s commitment to UN resolutions, especially Resolution 1701 and all of its provisions.

The statement pointed out that the Lebanese side reaffirmed the need for the Israeli enemy to withdraw from all the occupied Lebanese territories in the Shebaa Farms, the Kfar Shuba Hills and the outskirts of the town of Al-Mari, which partly includes the urban expansion of the town of Ghajar, stressing the need to remove the barbed wire fences recently placed by the Israeli enemy in the area.
