Mansour calls on international community to immediately intervene to stop Israeli crimes against Palestinian people

NEW YORK, Jan.31, (ST)-Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, has reiterated his call for the international community to immediately intervene to stop the escalation of the Israeli occupation’s crimes and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

WAFA News Agency reported on Tuesday that Mansour, in letters sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council, and the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, referred to the escalation of the attacks and violations of the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinians, their land, their property, and their shrines in light of the policy of impunity that the Israeli entity enjoys, which constitutes a violation of the international law.

Mansour stressed the need to stop the Israeli violations of international law,  including killings, arrests, forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people. This in addition to the theft of Palestinian lands, the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, the demolition of homes and property . He also addressed the attacks on prisoners and holy shrines, calling for the occupation to be held accountable immediately for its ongoing crimes.
