Croatian President: Crimea will not become part of Ukraine

Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that what the West is pursuing regarding Ukraine is “immoral,” stressing that Crimea will not become part of Ukraine.

Milanovic told reporters yesterday, commenting on the western support for Kiev that “what the West is doing regarding Ukraine is very immoral, because it is not a solution to war”, referring to the Western military support for Kiev, according to Reuters.

Milanovic stressed that he does not want his country to “face the serious consequences of the ongoing war in Ukraine,” noting that Crimea will never become part of Ukraine.

In December, Croatian lawmakers rejected a proposal that the country join a European Union mission in support of the Ukrainian military.
