The committee in charge of defending the Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation jails on Monday organized a solidarity stand at the headquarters of the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Damascus to voice support for the Palestinian detainees in the occupation jails.
Participants in the stand handed over two memos to the ICRC mission. The first deals with the increase of the number of detainees who suffer from chronic diseases in the occupation jails, particularly those who have spent more than 20 or 30 years behind bars and who need continuous and effective healthcare which is not provided by the occupation authorities.
The second memo dealt with issue of handing over the bodies of the detainees, who were martyred inside the jails, to their families, so that they can be buried decently.
