Dr. Louay Fallouh on Thursday was sworn in before President Bashar Al-Assad as an Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization. Haidar Ali Ahmad was also sowrn in as an Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva.
Abdel Moneim Annan was also sworn in before President Al-Assad as an Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Indonesia, and Bassam Darwish was sworn in as an Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of South Africa.
After that, President Al-Assad received the new ambassadors, provided them with his directives, and wished them success in their duties.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Dr. Faisal Al-Mikdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Mansour Azzam, Minister of Presidency Affairs.
