Antonov: The Russian army will destroy any Western military equipment delivered to the Kiev regime

Washington (ST): The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, confirmed that the United States’ delivery of tanks to the Kiev regime would become “another flagrant provocation” against Russia, warning that the Russian army would destroy this equipment.

Sputnik quoted Antonov as saying in a statement posted on the Telegram website: “If the United States decides to supply Kiev with tanks, it will be impossible to justify such a step using arguments about defensive weapons, and this will be another flagrant provocation against the Russian Federation,” explaining that if a decision is made to transfer Abrams tanks to Kiev American tanks will undoubtedly be destroyed, with the destruction of all other samples of NATO military equipment.

“No one should have illusions about who is the real aggressor in the current conflict,” Antonov added, noting that the United States is deliberately trying to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia and giving the green light to use its military aid in the attacks on Crimea.
