Maharada cotton ginning factory in Hama has delivered 500 tons of bales of cotton, resulting from the ginning of the cotton harvest, to the Spinning and Weaving Company in the Syrian coastal area.
The director of the factory, Asaad Qalawiz, explained that the amount of cotton that has been ginned in the Maharada center since the beginning of the ginning operations until now, has reached 650 tons out of the total amount received from the farmers of Hama, which is 725 tons. He pointed out that 259 tons of cotton have resulted from the ginning operations.
He added: The ginning operations are carried out by 5 machines and with a capacity not exceeding 5 tons per day, expecting the completion of the operations in early February.
