Lebanese MP: American blockade on Lebanon a desperate attempt to undermine the strength of resistance

The Lebanese Member of Parliament Hussein Al-Haj Hasan has affirmed that the US blockade and sanctions imposed on Lebanon are nothing but a desperate attempt to undermine the country’s strength represented by the national resistance which foiled Washington’s schemes in the 2006 war and confronted of the Takfiris.

In a statement on Tuesday, Al-Haj Hasan said that “confronting the American blockade and sanctions requires national unity and keenness on resisting foreign interference and dictates”.

Unity and resistance will strengthen the internal situation in Lebanon, he stressed.

He pointed out that fighting corruption and ending the exploitation of the oil resources discovered in Lebanon will play a positive role in improving the economic situation in the country.
