Al-Maasarawi: The free people of the world must assume their responsibilities to support Syria and lift the siege imposed on it
The coordinator of the Arab and international popular campaign to lift the siege on Syria Majdi Al-Maasarawi has affirmed that supporting Syria requires the honorable people of the nation and the free people of the world to assume their responsibilities and lift the unjust blockade imposed on the Syrian people.
Al-Maasarawi said in a statement today: “The campaign to lift the siege on Syria, which was launched last month, is witnessing a remarkable response from a large number of parties, political and intellectual figures around the world.”
He said that the number of respondents to the campaign’s call during the past three weeks reached 205 political, cultural, academic, legal and party personalities.
He pointed out that the next stage of the campaign’s work will include the formation of committees to lift the siege, and then preparation for a large international Arab forum to support Syria.
