Sudanese Democratic Unionist Party renews its support for Syria

Khartoum, (ST) –  Ahmed Bilal Othman, Secretary-General of the Sudanese Democratic Unionist Party renewed his party’s support for Syria in the confrontation of the global war facing it, and the blockade and coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people.

Othman said in a speech within the framework of the Arab and international popular campaign to lift the siege on Syria: “Syria has been  the fortress of Arab steadfastness and cohesion, and we will remain loyal to it. We will stand with it, until we achieve victory over all schemes that target the Arab nation and Arab people”.

Othman stressed that the unilateral coercive measures that Syria is subjected to aim at putting pressure on the country to change its positions on Arab causes, a goal the enemies and conspirators have so far failed to achieve.
