The textile export exhibition concluded by signing contracts for exporting clothes mainly to Iraq

Damascus (ST): The activities of the “Made in Syria” export exhibition specialized in clothing, textiles, and production requirements, spring-summer 2023, were concluded yesterday. The exhibition was held at the Damascus Fairgrounds by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Syrian Exporters Association of Clothes and Textiles.

Ragheed Al-Halabi, head of the Syrian Exporters Association for Clothing and Textiles explained in a statement to SANA news reporter that the exhibition was good and it achieved its desired goal.

The participating industrialists were able to sign contracts or reach agreements with businessmen visiting the exhibition on exporting clothes. 800 businessmen from Arab countries were invited to visit the exhibition, 500 of whom were from Iraq, according to Al-Halabi.

He indicated that most of the contracts and export agreements were aimed primarily at the Iraqi market, then the Libyan market and the Kuwaiti market, and focused on boys’ and girls’ clothes due to the approaching of the  holy month of Ramadan.
