Solidarity stand for journalist kidnapped by the (SDF) militia

On January 22nd, Aleppo journalists carried out a stand in solidarity and in demand of the release of their colleague Muhammad al-Saghir, correspondent of the Syrian al-Ikhbariya channel who worked in al-Hasakah governorate

Muhammad al-Saghir was kidnapped by the US-backed (SDF)militia in 2019, and he suffers from poor health conditions.

A member of the executive office of the Union of Journalists Abdul Karim Haj Obaid said: “Our colleague Muhammad was performing his duty by conveying the truth to public opinion, which hurt the American occupier and its puppets from the (SDF) militia that tried to silence his voice by imprisoning him.:

Media colleagues denounced the attacks and practices of the (SDF) militia against journalists who are performing their duty in light of the silence of international humanitarian and media organizations

The journalists appealed to the Arab clans located east of Aleppo to take an honorable stand by saving the country from the practices of the (SDF) militia and its theft of the American occupier of the country’s wealth, especially oil and wheat

In June 2019, the SDF militia kidnapped  journalist Muhammad al-Saghir while he was doing his work.
