Peskov: Supplying weapons to Ukraine to launch attacks on Russian soil is a serious matter

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that supplying weapons to Kiev to launch strikes on Russian soil is a very dangerous matter, noting that such supplies would move the conflict to a new level.

“Supplying Ukraine with weapons that allow strikes on Russian territory is a very dangerous matter, and this means raising the conflict to a qualitatively new level,” Russia Today website quoted Peskov as saying today in press statements.

The American newspaper The New York Times mentioned in a report that the administration of US President Joe Biden has begun to see that Ukraine needs additional capabilities to attack the Crimean peninsula, while Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said earlier today: that his country is seeking to regain Crimea.

Zelensky called on Western countries to provide his country with more weapons.
