Syria expressed its deep condolences to the people and government of Nepal for the victims of the passenger plane crash, and voiced its solidarity with the Nepalese people and the families of the victims.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on its Twitter account today: “Syria expresses its deep condolences to the people and government of the friendly Republic of Nepal for the victims of the passenger plane crash in Pokhara, central Nepal, and affirms its solidarity with the Nepalese people and the families of the victims in this painful affliction.”
72 people, 68 passengers and four crew members, died in the plane crash yesterday as it approached Pokhara airport, while the government declared a National Day of Mourning for the victims.
