Talks on boosting bilateral relations between Syria and Kyrgyzstan held in Moscow

Syria’s Ambassador to Russia Bashar Al-Jaafari, and the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moscow Gulnara-Clara Samat on Monday discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and historical relations between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, Al-Jaafari gave a political and economic preview on the course of the terrorist war that Syria has been exposed to, and on the negative impacts of the unilateral coercive Western measures on the Syrian people, noting Kyrgyzstan’s balanced and supportive stances towards Syria at international forums.

Al-Jaafari stressed the need to strengthen relations between the two sides in all areas, particularly the economic cooperation.

For her part, Ambassador Samat affirmed her country’s desire to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in all fields, particularly in the economic spheres. She expressed her hope that Syria would regain its role and position at all levels.
