European Parliamentarian: America founded NATO to expand its influence in Europe

Belfast (ST): Mick Wallace, member of the European Parliament for Ireland, considered that the United States of America established NATO at the end of the 40s of the last century, with the aim of expanding its influence in Europe.

Wallace said, according to RIA Novosti: “The United States formed NATO to keep the countries of Europe submissive to American imperialism,” stressing that politicians should start representing the interests of the people and stop representing NATO and the military-industrial complex.
