Moscow: Some countries’ attacks on our institutions abroad are a flagrant violation of international law
Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had detected attempts to act hostilely towards Russia’s institutions abroad, specifically in several Western countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Yevgeny Ivanov said according to TASS: “Against the background of the Russo phobic hysteria that was artificially fueled after the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, Moscow continues to record flagrant cases of violations of international law by foreign countries, including against the security of Russian diplomatic missions and consular institutions.”
He pointed out that many Western countries, contrary to their obligations, allow not only provocations, but also acts of violence against Russian foreign missions and against their employees, explaining that the actions include attempts to set fire to the buildings of these missions or create traffic accidents targeting Russian diplomats.
