Minister Seif El-Din: Decree 2 creates a system that includes a vision in dealing with the situation of children of unknown parentage

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Muhammad Saif al-Din, stated that Legislative Decree No. 2 issued by President Bashar al-Assad yesterday created an integrated and inclusive system, including a comprehensive and clear vision in dealing with the situation of children of unknown parentage.

Minister Seif El-Din pointed out that the decree provides alternative care that achieves harmony with social requirements and developments by providing livelihoods, and attaching them to an alternative family or an institution that takes care of them, raises them, and manages their affairs under a contract that guarantees the achievement of alternative care governed by the Personal Status Law to which the surrogate family is subject to.
