The Arab Peace Group has renewed its call for ending the unjust Western blockade which has been imposed on the Syrian people for years.
In a statement on Monday, signed by former Yemeni President Ali Nasser Mohammed, President of the Group, as well as former Jordanian Minister Samir Habashneh, Secretary-General of the Group within the framework of the international Arab popular campaign to lift the siege imposed on Syria, the Arab Peace Group affirmed: “We support all official and popular forces demanding an end to the unjust blockade imposed on the Syrian people, which causes massive suffering for this people.”
The statement stressed the need for Arab communication with Syria on the basis of restoring its active Arab role and helping it reconstruct what the terrorist war against it Has destroyed.
