Iranian Chief of Staff: Our people’s demand is to confront American terrorism

Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, affirmed that confronting American terrorism has become a demand of the Iranians and people aspiring for justice, after the assassination of the commander of Al-Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.

Bagheri said in a message on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyr Soleimani’s assassination: “Iran’s strategy to expel the American terrorist forces from the region will continue until this goal is achieved. The American forces’ assassination of Soleimani put the Iranian people, the Islamic people, and the people of other countries in a daze, as to how a  government targets an official guest of the Iraqi government with a drone attack violating  all legal, political and international rules.”
