“Let’s rejoice together” a recreational event for 1000 children with disabilities and orphans

1000 children with disabilities and orphans have taken part on in a social recreational event called “Let’s Rejoice Together”, held at Al-Muhafaza Sports Club in Damascus by Ataa Voluntary Team in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and Damascus Governorate.

The event, which lasted for 7 days, was concluded on Saturday. It included several recreational and artistic activities that aim at providing the children with disabilities and orphans an opportunity to participate in diverse activities that brings happiness to their hearts.

Rama Zreik, the Good Will Ambassador of the Multipurpose Inter-Parliamentary Union, clarified that this event is being held for the sixth year in cooperation with a number of concerned associations and institutions, pointing out that future plans will include holding vocational courses and activities that support children with special needs and that extend to the rest of the Syrian governorates.
