Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli occupation officials’ storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli occupation officials’ storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the occupation government to stop its illegal actions.

The Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoted a source in the Pakistani Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Wednesday: “Al-Aqsa Mosque is a sacred site revered by Muslims all over the world,” noting that the occupation officials’ raid fuels tension in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The ministry called on the occupation government to stop its illegal actions and to respect the sanctity of Islamic religious sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The statement affirmed “Pakistan’s strong support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people,” reaffirming Islamabad’s call for a viable and independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Al-Quds as its capital, in accordance with relevant resolutions of the United Nations and Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
