Several US-backed SDF militants killed and injured in an attack by unidentified gunmen north of Raqqa

A number of militants affiliated to the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) militia were killed and injured on Monday in a machinegun attack carried out by unidentified gunmen on their car in Raqqa northern countryside.

Local sources told SANA that a machinegun attack targeted a car for militants affiliated to the “SDF” separatist militia that was driving along the oad between Tal Al-Samn town and Ein Issa town in the northern countryside of Raqqa.

The militants inside the care were killed and injured, the sources added.

The SDF militia imposed a security belt in the area and launched a search campaign to find the attackers, the sources pointed out.
