A large number of cultural and literary publications were issued during 2022 most of which focused on the national aspect, confronting terrorism, and adhering to history and belonging .
The most prominent book issued by “Dar Ba’al” for Printing, Publishing and Distribution entitled “Independence of Syria between the National Bloc and the National Revolutions between 1927 and 1946” by researcher Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani.
The author sought through the six chapters of the book to uncover many facts, mainly the mistakes of the past that caused the loss of an important part of the Syrian lands in cooperation with the colonialists, Freemasonry and its schemes.
The book also shed light on the behavior of positive and negative political figures and the contradictions that varied between resistance and betrayal.
In turn, the Arab Writers Union issued a new book under the title “Readings in History, Identity and Culture” by researcher Dr. Farouk Aslim, in which he clarified that the fortification of Arab and national identity is a wide-spectrum work.
“Star Maps and their Evolution Through the Ages” by Dr. Thaer Basmaji is a research paper issued by “ Dar Akl” for Publishing, Studies and Translation to review civilizations’ interest in the subject of celestial maps in addition to highlight the latest discoveries implemented by astronomers in the field of star maps.
As for the book “To Be or Not to Be” issued by the Arab Writers Union, it included patriotic texts and visions on the choice and destiny of the Syrian people by the late Dr. Afif Dalla through which the writer explained the biography of the homeland and the nation in addition to the importance of resistance and supporting Syria and Palestine.
At the same time, the Arab Writers Union issued a book entitled “Ahmed Jibril” , the Eagle of Palestine by the two thinkers Rafe’i al-Saadi and Muhammad Adel, and presented by the head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad al-Hourani who shed light on Jibril’s character and his choice of resistance and defense of the nation’s principles against the Zionist occupation.
The Union of Arab Writers also published a book entitled Memoirs of Zaki Abul-Aish, “The Bars of the prison Are Not Unbreakable,” which highlighted the struggle experience of Abul-Aish in a documented and systematic manner and revealed the crimes committed by the occupation, and what the Palestinian heroes face for the sake of their homeland.
A research was issued by “Dar Jehat” for Publishing, Printing and Distribution entitled “The Lawyers’ Constitution” by the Deputy Head of the Bar Association in Syria, Osama Abu Al-Fadl, through which he clarified the need for lawyers to adhere to a culture of balanced morals and their knowledge of the accumulated and divergent accumulations of social reality and its mental and cultural disparities.
“Death between bureaucracy and political interest” is a book by Dr. Tohamy Al-Abdouli, published by Ninawa Publishing House . It systematically reviewed world events and political interests that govern the relations between powers and the use of the Corona virus and the use of bureaucracy as a tool according to interests and agendas.
