In a report he made while presiding over the Sixth Expanded Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the DPRK Work Party, according to the Korean Central News Agency, Kim referred to the valuable experiences gained by the DPRK, by facing the challenges in 2022 and clarifying the future direction of the development of its affairs, in addition to the successes that have been achieved, pointing out that “the country’s national strength has increased significantly in all political, military, economic and cultural fields.”
Jong Un stressed the need to continue making progress in all tracks, especially economic and political, pointing out that there are special action plans for 2023, covering various fields of the DPRK’s economy, including major industries, metallurgy, chemistry, electric power, coal, machinery, construction, agriculture and light industries.
