For the second day, the Israeli occupation flooded dozens of homes and hundreds of agricultural dunums in the besieged Gaza Strip, as a result of opening dams and rainwater passages towards them.
Palestinian media outles reported that the Israeli occupation opened dams and rainwater passages in the areas bordering the Strip towards Khan Yunis and Deir Al-Balah in the south and center of the Strip, which led to the flooding of dozens of homes and hundreds of agricultural dunams, causing great material losses.
For two days, the Strip has been witnessing heavy rain falls that caused water pools in a number of areas. The situation was exacerbated yesterday after the occupation flooded dozens of homes and hundreds of agricultural dunums in separate areas in the east, center and south of the Strip, amid Palestinian warnings of a humanitarian catastrophe.
