Syria participates in the evening of Eastern cultures in Belarus

The Syrian Embassy in Belarus participated in the cultural activities held by the Republic Center for National Cultures of the Belarusian Ministry of Culture under the title “Evening of Eastern Cultures”.
The event is held within the framework of the cultural activities held in Belarus on the occasion of declaring 2022 a year of hitorical memory.
The evening took place at the Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature and included a presentation of the national cultures of some countries, including Syria, which also participated in an exhibition of photos and paintings of the most important monuments and historical and tourist sites in Syria.
Two young Syrians residing in Belarus presented a musical performance of Syrian folklore.
 In turn, a Belarusian art dance group presented folklore dances for the Syrian Dabkeh and for dances from neighboring countries.
In appreciation of the participation of the Syrian embassy in the event and the various cultural activities taking place in Belarus, the director of the Republic Center for National Cultures and the director of the Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature presented a certificate of appreciation to the Syrian ambassador to Belarus Muhammad al-Omrani.
