The Hasakah Water Establishment on Saturday received 17 water tanks presented by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) within the frame work of the establishment’s efforts to secure potable water to the citizens in Hasakah governorate in the light of the continuous cutting of water supplies to Hasakah and its countryside by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
According to Director of the Hasakah Water Establishment Mahmoud Al-Okla, the tanks will serve the southern neighborhoods of Hasakah city, particularly the places where there are no tanks.
Hasakah Water Establishment has been working with international organizations and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to secure water through the daily filling of available water tanks from the tankers dedicated to transfer water from the water resources that are affiliated to the establishment or from private resources under its supervision.
