Syrian students studying in Cuba and their colleagues from Cuba and other nationalities affirmed their support for Syria in the face of the terrorist and economic war being waged against it.
During a solidarity event in the Cuban capital, Havana, on the occasion of the end-of-year celebrations held by Cuban universities, the students denounced the unjust and unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the United States of America and Western countries on Syria.
The Syrian students wore the Syrian folk costume and broadcast patriotic and Syrian folklore songs. They also displayed a number of pictures and magazines about Syria and raised pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, expressing their clinging steadfast to their history and culture, and renewing their support for the Syrian army and leadership in the face of the war their country is exposed to.
