On December 21st, Pakistani President Arif Alawi affirmed that there are good prospects for strengthening bilateral relations with Syria in various fields.
This came during President Alawi’s acceptance of the credentials of Dr. Ramiz Al-Rai as Syria’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Pakistan.
The Pakistani President expressed his heartfelt best wishes to President Bashar al-Assad, expressing his hope that security, peace and stability would prevail throughout Syria.
President Alawi said: “I am confident that appointing an accredited Syrian ambassador to Pakistan will push the bilateral relations forward between the two friendly countries and peoples.”
In turn, Ambassador Al-Rai conveyed the greetings of President Al-Assad to President Alawi and the friendly people of Pakistan, wishing the country more security, peace, development and prosperity.
