Putin: Kiev regime deliberately targets residential neighborhoods and civilians in Donetsk

Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Kiev regime is deliberately targeting residential neighborhoods and civilians in the city of Donetsk.

Russia Today website quoted Putin as saying during a meeting with the Acting President of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushlin: “It is clear that the security situation in Donetsk is no less severe than in Lugansk, given the intense bombing of Ukrainian forces on residential areas in Donetsk,” pointing out that there are no foreign media or human rights organizations talking about this bombing.

For his part, Pushlin asked President Putin to strengthen the air defense in Donetsk to protect the cities from the Ukrainian bombing and said that as a result of the Ukrainian bombing of Donetsk from the 2nd to the 18th of December, 21 civilians were killed and 94 others were wounded.
