People in the occupied Golan stress unity of struggle of the Syrian and Palestinian peoples to defeat the Israeli occupation
The people in the occupied Syrian Golan affirmed the unity of the struggle the Syrian and Palestinian peoples in confronting the Israeli occupation until it is defeated and moved away from the entire land of the Golan and occupied Palestine.
The people said in a statement today: We in the captive national movement and all the people of the occupied Syrian Golan mourn the death of the Palestinian leader and freedomfighter Nasser Abu Hamid, who was martyred today inside the Israeli occupation detention centers as a result of the policy of repression, brutality and deliberate medical neglect to which the hero prisoners are subjected, indicating that Abu Hamid was a fighter and a hero who sums up the will of an entire country, where his life was a continuous series of struggle and steadfastness.
The People in Golan added: We are in the occupied Syrian Golan, and we have shared with the Palestinian people the suffering, oppression, and injustice of the occupation, and we have shared with the captives in the occupation detention centers deprivation and oppression for decades. We congratulate the brotherly Palestinian people on the martyrdom of the hero Abu Hamid, stressing the continuation of the path of common struggle until the occupation is defeated and driven out from the land of the Syrian Golan and Palestine.
The prisoner Abu Hamid, 50, has died this morning after a long suffering from lung cancer, exacerbated by the refusal of the occupation authorities to transfer him to a hospital in the West Bank or to release him, despite the serious deterioration in his health since August 2021, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and international treaties on the protection of prisoners.
