Army Chief Praised Fighters Sacrifices in Defending Homeland

DAMASCUS,(ST)_  Chief of  Staff of the Army and the armed forces , General Ali Abdullah Ayyub, accompanied by a number of Army  General Command  officers yesterday  held a  field visit to one army  fighting formations  during which he met field commanders and fighters and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Gen. Ayyub stressed that the brave men of our armed forces are the true  defenders  of the homeland ,noting the sacrifices of the armed forces fighters in the face of murder and terror groups .

During the visit, the chief of staff praised the heroism  of our brave soldiers , provided them with his instructions  and wished them success in the implementation of their duties .

For their part, the  soldiers  stressed that they are always ready  to carry out any task assigned to them and that they are fully prepared  in defense  of the homeland dignity .
