The competent authorities found weapons and ammunition left behind by terrorists (ISIS) in the countryside of Deir Ezzour

Deir Ezzour (ST): The competent authorities in Deir Ezzour found a tunnel containing weapons and ammunition left over from the terrorist organization (ISIS) in the eastern countryside of the province.

News correspondent in Deir Ezzour reported that, in cooperation with the people, and through following up the search and investigation work to remove booby traps and weapons left behind by the terrorists in order to preserve the lives of civilians and to ensure their safe return, the competent authorities found a tunnel containing large quantities of weapons and ammunition left behind by the terrorists of the organization (ISIS) in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour, some of them are western-made.

The reporter indicated that the weapons and ammunition included military rifles, machine guns, RPG launchers, snipers, mortars of various calibers and sizes, explosive devices, homemade shells and explosive materials, in addition to reconnaissance aircraft, clothes, medicines and books that carry a dark takfiri ideology that is contrary to the tolerant teachings and values of Islam.
