Around 100,000 people have benefited from the services of the (Sawa Shabab) youth project in Al-Hasakah
Over a period of one year and three months, about 100,000 citizens have benefited from the services provided by the (Sawa Shabab) youth project of the “Al-Mawaddah” Charity in Al-Hasakah Governorate.
The project carried out its activities in various areas in the governorate under the supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor.
The project manager, Ayham Al-Hamdoush, stated that the activities of the project varied between training, which included courses on music, theater, media, sign language, photography, first aid, computer maintenance and extending household electricity lines, in addition to implementing workshops on life skills, entrepreneurship and project management and holding adolescent health education sessions.
He said that the project implemented sports activities within groups for football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, karate, boxing, badminton and mental arithmetic, in addition to launching various social initiatives that included providing drinking water, lighting bridges and streets, holding sport activities and social ones on International Children’s Day and International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
It is to be noted that the project provides its free services to beneficiaries through its main center in the city of Al-Hasakah and several affiliated centers in the cities and areas of Darbasiyah, Amuda and the Areesha camp for the displaced.
