Habubati Discuses With the International Committee of the Red Cross Ways to Develop Cooperation For the Next Stage 

Geneva (ST) – Eng. Khaled Habubati, head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, discussed in Geneva with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, ways to develop cooperation regarding the humanitarian response in Syria for the next stage, the importance of focusing on the recovery of societies, and supporting sustainable livelihood for affected families.

Habubati stressed that humanitarian crises are still besieging the Syrians and they need everyone’s help, and that the Red Crescent is making every effort to alleviate the suffering of the affected and the most vulnerable and sharing their burdens.

He congratulated Egger on her assumptions of the position of Charmian of the Committee at the beginning of last October.

The Secretary-General of the organization, Eng. Khaled Arsousi, and the deputy Secretary-General for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Talal AL-Masry, attended the meeting.
