Ghassan Masoud is a Syrian international actor and one of the most award-winning Arab actors who has won many awards in Arab and international countries such as: France, Italy, America and Turkey.
Theatre, film and television actor Ghassan Masoud worked as a professor at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus for ten years. Many of the most prominent actors in the art scene have studied and trained under his supervision.
He has performed many outstanding roles and drama series. Among his most important roles in Syrian and international cinema is the role of Salahuddin in the film “Kingdom of Heaven”, and the role of Hashim Agha in the series “Gates of the Wind” and Abubakar in the series “Omar”.
After working in Hollywood, the artist Ghassan Masood became a global star, working on more than one movie produced by Hollywood and also chosen by British director Ridley Scott to play a role in his new film “Exodus: Gods and Kings”, which deals with the story of the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) according to the Jewish biblical text.
