Moscow: We are ready for dialogue with Washington only on basis of equality

The Russian Embassy in the United States announced that Moscow is ready for dialogue with Washington only on the basis of equality and observance of security guarantees.

“Washington’s reckless foreign policy and disregard of Russian interests has led to huge problems and crises in global politics and the economy,” the embassy said in a statement today, according to RIA Novosti. “Russia is ready for dialogue only on the basis of the principle of equality and observance of Russian security guarantees.”

The embassy stressed that Russia rejects the decision of the US Senate committee to classify Russia’s actions in Ukraine as genocide, saying : “We categorically reject the accusations contained in the Senate committee’s decision that Russia’s actions in Ukraine constitute genocide, and such implications are a blatant distortion of the facts.”

The statement pointed out that for eight years, the American parliamentarians did not pay attention to the suffering of the people of Donbass by the Kiev regime.

The US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee adopted a resolution alleging that Russia’s actions in Ukraine are genocide.
