Raisi: United States is the most tyrannical and dictatorial government in the world

Tehran, (ST) –  Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that the US administrations seek to destroy a strong Iran and replace it with a weak state, but the Iranian people will not allow them to achieve this goal.

Raisi said in a speech he gave today on the occasion of the National Day of the University Student, that, the enemy, through rioters, talks about life, while robbing us of life. “This enemy threatens to impose sanctions on us, and preventing food and medicine from reaching those in need,” he added.

Raisi stressed that the most tyrannical and dictatorial government in the world is the government of the United States.

The Iranian president indicated that the enemies have tried to disrupt the work of universities to impede Iran’s progress. He added that the Iranian people, men and women are aware enough not allow enemies to Iran into the weak state that America wants.

Raisi pointed out that all segments of the Iranian people will be heard, including those with a different opinion. He said that his government welcomes dialogue, and “we are always determined to listen to the students’ demands”.

President Raisi also said that there is a difference between peaceful protest and riots, because peaceful protests seek reform, but riots contribute to destruction and spread the spirit of despair in society.
