Iran: Dismantling Sabotage Network in  Center of the Country

Tehran (ST) – The public relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran announced today the dismantling of a sabotage network and the arrest of its members in Markazi Province, in the center of the country.

Iranian television quoted the public relations as saying in a statement: “A network of 12 people linked to foreign elements was arrested in one of the cities of Markazi Province.” The members of this network, under the guidance of counter-revolutionary people living in Germany and Netherlands, attempted to carry out activities against national security, supplying military weapons, and carrying out subversive activities.

The statement indicated that the investigations are continuing with members of the network to get more information about their activities and relations.

The Iranian authorities continue their efforts to pursue rioters, as they announced the arrest of two leaders for acts of vandalizing public and private properties in Sanandaj city, west of the country.
