MOSCOW, (ST) – Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that his country and China advocate the formation of a multipolar structure. “The two countries are ready to face the new challenges and growing external pressures”, he added.
During the 27th meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China held via video conference on Monday, Mishustin said, according to TASS that our two countries have identical orientations to many problems of our time, and together we advocate the formation of a multipolar structure of international relations, and we are ready both to face emerging challenges and growing external pressures.
Mishustin pointed out that the relations between Russia and China are comprehensive and strategic partnership relations. “The two countries are moving confidently and steadily forward in all directions, even in light of the phenomena of the crisis in the global economy,” he added
Mishustin emphasized that attempts by some Western countries to impose their own rules using illegal means of pressure are doomed to failure.
The Russian Prime Minister pointed out that the energy partnership between the two countries has acquired a strategic character. He added that Russia is ready to ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations to provide China with energy resources, and to work on new large-scale projects in this field.
