The martyr hero, Brigadier General Abd al-Rahman Kazan, was born in the village of “Al-Alia” in Idlib governorate on 15th of May 1969.

Abd al-Rahman Kazan joined the ranks of our valiant army and graduated from the Military Academy with the rank of lieutenant in 1990.

The martyr was a brave hero, and since the first day of the global war against Syria, he was at the forefront of those who fought to defend the country and its people”.

The terrorist organizations attacked the military point which he was at and besieged it with for several days. Brigadier General Abd al-Rahman Kazan was brave and fought against terrorists with courage and competence till he was martyred in 11\4\2013.
